About Us
We at Vector Node are, simply put, a bunch of people who like games, and who wish to have a social space where we can all gather games. We welcome everyone, regardless of prior gaming experience and level of interest.
We play video games, board games, card games and TTRPGs (TableTop Role-Playing Games, like Dungeons & Dragons). We have a large collection of board games, consoles and VR-equipment that we bring to our events, and as a member you will have access to all of this during events. Every month we host 3 events.
Unless otherwise specified, all events start at 5 PM.
All our events are fully alcohol and drug free.

Event Information
Hangout is the type of event where we just hang out. We book a room in P52, set up some TVs, some consoles and bring a lot of board games, as well as the VR equipment. Then, we just hang out and have fun with it!
Named events are themed Vector Node, where we follow the basic Hangout-format, but try to follow a specific theme (feel free to request things from outside the theme, however). Themes can range from Cute Animals, to Wheeling In The Winter, to Sun-Fried Brainz (zombies), which we hosted right before the summer break started.
LANs are our biggest events of the semester, and they only happen once every semester. We book the student hall in P52 for an entire weekend, and hook everyone up with access to a router. We then set up tables and open up the hall to let people bring their own computers or consoles. In addition to that we play board games, and in addition we'll usually arrange tournements,TTRPGs one-shots, and more.
The General Assembly is a meeting that is open to everyone, held every semester to inform our members about what the board has done since the last meeting and what they plan to do before the next. We also introduce our board members, what roles they have and what that role does. Finally, we try to fill any empty spots on the board. There will be free pizza for our members.
Unless otherwise specified, all events start at 5 PM. The LAN usually allows people to drop by and set up earlier, but unless anything else is specified, you can safely assume we start at 5 PM.

There are many things that need to be done. These include:
- Helping at stands to increase our visibility and recruit new members.
- Welcoming members at the entrance of our events.
- Setting up the network and electricity for our LANs.
- Taping up cables.

What do you get in return by volunteering?
- Get free membership for the next semester.
- Get free food and snacks at our LANs.
About the Board
We’re the student organization for those that are interested in games and gaming. Whether that is pc-gaming, board games, card games, handheld games, games on mobile, console games, tabletop roleplaying games or games on facebook.
Our goal is to be a social hub for students and gamers. To provide a meeting place and a place to just hang out with other gamers. Both online, and in the flesh at our office or one of our many events.
We focus on being inclusive and have a low threshold. We even provide the games. So all you need to join is to be (t)here. Get connections, meet new friends, and have a great time with us and our members.
